Impreglon acquires Greenkote production and Linke GmbH coating company.

To supplement its own range of coatings, Impreglon AG acquired the license and production rights for an additional environmentally friendly coating process from Greenkote plc in the UK.

In addition, the speciality coater Gebr. Linke GmbH of Zwickau, Germany has been purchased.

Free of any emissions into the environment, the Zinc thermodiffusion process (ZTD) outperforms other very thin film coatings in the protection of metal surfaces against corrosion attacks. In addition, ZTD offers an excellent base for Impreglon's existing functional and decorative top coats. In the future the new coating process should play an important role in the field of renewable energy.      January 2010.        

Gebr. Linke specialises in coating large components which ideally supplements Impreglon's broad range of coatings. The plant's location close to the Czech border also closes the geographic gap between existing mainland European Impreglon plants and our Hungarian plant. Linke reported sales of approximately 4 m Euro in 2008.
