Bigger, better, faster...

This is what Impreglon‘s expanded manufacturing facilities in Lüneburg will be. With the addition to the plant, the production area in Lüneburg will be an impressive 4900 m² in size. The new layout allows the production sequence to be completely revamped, resulting in much more efficient manufacturing and shorter processing times.

The pretreatment of coated components is one area that is being completely redesigned. In addition to a pyrolysis furnace, a latest generation single chamber cleaning system was integrated. The blasters were completely overhauled and the capacity increased by adding more booths and a new continuous blaster.

After remodeling, metallic or ceramic thermal spray coatings can be processed within one department, including any finishing or sealing work required. Components can be electric arc and flame sprayed as well as plasma and HVOF sprayed. The plant expansion will enable us to optimally meet our customers' demands and to create a basis for additional growth.

The heart of the new design is the addition of a semiautomatic continuous polymer treatment process line. The intention is to improve quality, decrease processing times and increase the efficiency of coating parts up to 100 kg at temperatures up to 400 °C.
