New hard wearing coating.

New coating range launched by the Impreglon Group.

Following a period of development work by Impreglon Sweden and a raw material supplier, the Impreglon Group held a training session in January 2007 at our Swedish plant's training centre to learn more about this exciting new range of coatings. Attendees came from all our eight European plants and included a contingent from our North American operation. The chemistry of this new coating range is such that we can now offer a hardwearing low friction coating that is significantly harder wearing than any other fluoropolymer coating. Potential applications include components such as chutes, hoppers and deadplates where abrasive material needs to be transfered along or across the component. The expectation is that this new range of coatings will open up many more opportunities for the Impreglon Group.
