Delta MKS®

Delta MKS® is a zinc flake coating applied with the most modern application methods - dip spinning, dipping and fully automatic wet spraying. This high-grade corrosion deterrent is free of chromate (Chromium-VI), and the zinc flakes supply galvanic protection. Bi-metallic corrosion, occurring when zinc is applied with electroplating, is not an issue. Sealing systems developed specifically to complement this corrosion protection ensure good sliding and nonstick properties - and they also serve decorative pupose.

These coating systems are commonly used in the automotive industry and in applications where outstanding corrosion resistance is to be combined with other functional and decorative properties.

Coating thickness: 5 µm to 30 µm (depending on structure of coating).
