TempCoat® (ChemCoat®)
The TempCoat® method creates a high quality polymer surface. These coatings have excellent sliding, nonstick and dry lubrication properties and the TempCoat® process ensures that the coating is securely anchored to the base material (substrate). TempCoat® coatings can be applied to aluminium, castings, steel, stainless steel, ceramics, some copper alloys and with certain coating systems to carbon fibre, glass fibre and some plastics. This method is particularly well suited to applications requiring good sliding and nonstick properties as well as high resistance to wear.
The TempCoat® range is also known as ChemCoat® in other parts of the Impreglon Group.
